Windows 10 1703/1709 Update - Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller - the device cannot start (Code 10). Hi All, I know this is rather long, but want to be as thorough as possible. I have an older motherboard, an MSI 990FXA-GD80 (MS-7640). Up until the Creators Update/Fall Creators Update, I had no problems at all. I've tried updating the Realtek driver, but haven't been able to get a successful connection. I'm thinking of buying a network card (they're cheap) so. I found that the on-board network chip (Realtek RTL8111E) does not work with Fedora. Capabilities: [50] MSI: Enable+ Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
